Ally Gu is Head of AI & Data Product at REA Group Financial Services, where she develops and delivers the enterprise data and AI strategy for one of Australia's largest mortgage broking networks.
A former data scientist, she made a deliberate move into technical product leadership to ensure AI is built for real outcomes, not just proof of concepts. She is now leading REA Financial Services' transformation from AI-aware to AI-native, building and scaling an agentic AI platform designed to boost broker productivity and transform the customer experience.
She took REA's first agentic AI product from idea to production in under four months, achieving over 50% network adoption across ~1,000 Mortgage Choice franchises within the first month. Most recently, she led the integration connecting buyer and seller intent signals from realestate.com.au and PropTrack directly into broker CRMs, a landmark step in linking the REA ecosystem for brokers and consumers.
