Founded in Melbourne, Heidi is an AI healthcare start up building AI tools for clinicians.
Heidi has hit unicorn status, securing capital at a $1.26 billion valuation.
The company has secured US$340 million in new funding, including a US$100 million Series C round led by Blackbird and a US$240 million growth investment led by General Catalyst.
Blackbird says Heidi is its fastest growing investment ever, with the startup reaching US$50 million in annual recurring revenue.
Heidi says its platform now supports 2.8 million patient visits every week across 190 countries and 110 languages, with more than 175 million visits supported in total.
The company is now expanding beyond clinical documentation into more agentic AI capabilities designed to handle administrative work around patient visits while keeping medical judgement with clinicians.
