Australia’s AI industry goes GLOBAL. Firmus partners with NVIDIA to build 170,000-GPU AI facility in Indonesia.🌍
Australian AI infrastructure company Firmus Technologies has announced a partnership with Nvidia to establish an AI campus in Indonesia.
The campus in Batam, Indonesia will provide large-scale AI computing resources for clients worldwide.
As part of the partnership, Firmus Technologies will develop a 360MW NVIDIA DSX AI Factory campus, featuring up to 170,000 NVIDIA GPUs.
Firmus will procure Nvidia AI infrastructure until 2034 and provide Nvidia-powered cloud services.
Firmus estimates it will receive between US$25bn and $30bn in committed offtake agreements over the first six years.
