Get ready for ONE HUNDRED new data centres in Australia as shown in this new map. 🧐
There are currently over 160 data centre hubs spanning every state in the country. There are nearly 100 new hubs either planned or in the development pipeline.
Australia is attracting a surge of new data centres because it offers abundant renewable energy, stable regulations, strong demand for AI and cloud services, and a strategic location serving the Asia-Pacific region.
The vast majority of the new data centres are coming to the outskirts of Sydney and Melbourne as shown in new data from RenewMap.
